Describe this playground safety tip:
Some weekend, go to your child's playground and let him or her show you around, demonstrate favorite equipment and activities and so on. Talk about how to use the equipment safely, and what activities you might prefer them to stay away from, perhaps just until they're a bit older.

Other comments or suggestions:
Let your child know you're glad they have this place to go to and you just want to know what it's like for them. Obviously, if you see any repair or safety issues, politely bring them to your school's attention.
