Description of technique:
Select some favorite poems that have some fun action words in them and try to dance them out. Then find different styles of music and add that to your poetry and decide what style fits the words of the poem. Then have a little poetry in motion performance for the family.

Appropriate age group(s):
3-8

Other suggestions or comments:
Try using song lyrics as poetry. Try drawing a picture and then creating a poem from that then adding music. Listen to music and then jot down some fun words then create a poem from your list.
